Instant Vortex Air Fryer - Strawberry Breakfast Pasty
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts 2 per package
- 8 tbsp strawberry jam or pie filling
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
On a lightly floured surface, roll out both pieces of pie crusts to 1/4” thick. Place the pie crusts on top of each other and cut the dough into four equal rectangles. You will have eight equal pieces: four bottoms and four tops.
Add 2 tbsp of strawberry filling to the center of the four bottom rectangles, leaving a ½” space around the edges. Dip your finger into water and run your finger along the edges of the dough, spreading water along the edges.
Place the remaining dough rectangles on top and seal the edges of the dough by pressing down with a fork. Use the fork and poke two holes on the tops of the tarts.
Select Bake and set the time and temperature 350F and bake for 12 minutes. Press Start.
Cook the tarts in two batches. Once preheated, place two tarts into the basket. When cooking time is completed, carefully remove the tarts, and let cool completely. Cook the second batch.
In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar and milk and stir until smooth consistency. Spread on top of the pop tarts and add sprinkles.
