To ensure that your Instant Pot multicooker continues to perform as it is intended to use only authentic Instant Pot® sealing rings with your Instant Pot multicooker. It is recommended that you replace your Instant Pot sealing ring every 12-18 months. However, the sealing ring is porous and can absorb odors and become discolored. To prevent discoloration and odors, you may want to replace the sealing ring every 6-12 months.
