The Instant Pot® sealing ring is a critical component of the Instant Pot® safety system. It is precisely engineered and manufactured from high-quality silicone to maintain the correct hardness and durability required for safe and reliable pressure cooking.
These sealing rings have passed strict UL, FDA, and LFGB safety tests, ensuring they meet high standards for food safety and performance.
To maintain optimal performance of your Instant Pot®, it is strongly recommended to use only genuine Instant Pot® sealing rings.
The sealing ring is naturally porous and may absorb odors or become discolored over time. For best results, we recommend replacing the sealing ring every 12–18 months, or every 6–12 months depending on usage and exposure to strong odors.
The transparent design offers a clean, neutral solution suitable for all types of dishes without the need for color separation.
